About the role
PATL builds and operates padel clubs across the United States. Our mission is to make padel accessible, engaging and fun, with great programming for players of every level. The Kirkland club is our first in the Pacific Northwest: four indoor courts, a social lounge, a cafe and a pro shop.
The Community Coordinator is the first face players see and one of the main people who make the club feel like a community. You’ll run the front desk, but the job is bigger than check-ins: you’ll know players by name, connect new people to games, and help bring our events to life.
What you’ll do
Community and events
- Welcome every player, learn names, and make first-timers feel at home
- Connect players to games, partners, open play and the right programs
- Help plan and run clinics, socials, leagues, tournaments and partner events: setup, check-in, music, prizes and the vibe
- Help fill events by personally inviting players, and capture photos and videos for the marketing team
Concierge and front desk
- Own the PATL concierge number: answer texts and calls, book courts, handle questions and follow up
- Check players in, manage bookings and walk-ins in Play by Point, and sell memberships and intro offers
- Run the pro shop and cafe counter, and keep the club clean and ready to play
- Open and close the club and follow safety procedures
Who you are
- You love meeting people and you’re organized and calm when the desk gets busy
- Experience in hospitality, retail, fitness, a club or another people-first job
- Comfortable with booking software, POS and texting with customers
- Available evenings and weekends, and authorized to work in the United States
- Bonus: you play a racquet sport, have helped run events, or speak Spanish
Compensation and benefits
- $23 per hour
- 250 club credits a month to use for free court time
- Player discounts on pro shop gear
