Kirkland, WA (Seattle area) · Full-time, exempt · Reports to the Director of Strategic Partnerships & Operations

About the role

PATL Seattle is our first Pacific Northwest club: 4 indoor padel courts plus social space in a purpose-built facility in Kirkland, opening this winter. The GM assumes responsibility for the club from pre-opening through its first year and is measured on one thing: building a community that keeps coming back and a club that hits its revenue plan.

What you’ll do

1. Pre-opening

  • Set up memberships, pricing and the booking system with the PATL team
  • Build the founding member base before doors open
  • Plan the soft open, opening promotions and grand opening

2. Revenue and membership

  • Report weekly on Seattle’s results against the revenue plan
  • Drive membership sales, retention and repeat play
  • Build a first-30-days path that turns first-timers into regulars
  • Work with PATL partnerships on local sponsors and community partners

3. Programming

  • Build the weekly schedule with the Head Padel Professional: open play, clinics, leagues, intro sessions, events
  • Run a fair, objective level system for players

4. Team

  • Recruit, train and manage coaches and front desk staff
  • Set clear expectations for coaches on and off the court
  • Grow the coaching operation so programs don’t depend on one person

5. Operations

  • Daily facility standards: safety, cleanliness, court condition, member experience
  • Policies, procedures, budget and vendor management
  • Handle member issues quickly and personally
  • Track local competitors and keep PATL ahead on quality, not price

6. Standards

  • Uphold PATL’s standards for hospitality, member experience, programming quality and facility upkeep
  • Lead by example and hold staff accountable to those standards every day
  • Protect the PATL brand in how the club looks, communicates and treats people

What success looks like in year one

  • Seattle revenue at or above plan
  • A strong founding member base by opening day
  • Strong active membership and repeat-play rates by month 12
  • A coaching team that runs programs without the GM on court

What you bring

  • 5+ years running racquet or fitness club operations, including at least one opening
  • Padel experience and certification; comfortable teaching and running intro sessions
  • Proven record growing memberships and programs
  • Strong leader who hires well and holds a high bar
  • Hospitality-first: knows members by name
  • Lives in or relocating to the Seattle area
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire, without current or future visa sponsorship

Compensation and benefits

  • Base salary: $75,000 to $90,000 per year, based on experience
  • Performance bonus up to $15,000, based on club revenue, active members and member retention
  • Private lesson split, capped hours
  • Health insurance
  • Free PATL membership plus $750 in club credits
  • Free padel equipment
  • 20 days PTO
  • Paid sick leave under Washington law
